Pascal Levy-Garboua is a serial Entrepreneur, currently working on his next big idea to change the world for the better. He is also a startup Advisor, and currently works with Companies dealing with SMBs and Local – Wishery, EggZack, BeThere and Producteev .
Prior to this, Pascal was the co-founder and VP Business Development of VirtuOz. VirtuOz enables large enterprises like eBay, PayPal, AT&T, Symantec and others to use Intelligent Virtual Agents to provide world-class, automated, personalized online marketing, sales, and support channels. This is basically Siri for an Enterprise’s customers!
Under Pascal’s tenure, VirtuOz grew from 4 co-founders in a garage near Paris, France, to over 75 people with offices in San Francisco, Atlanta, New York and Paris. VirtuOz was named fastest growing Company in France and 20th in Europe for the 2005-2009 period with a total growth rate over that period of 4,354%. At VirtuOz, Pascal built a team to launch the Skaaz product: Skaaz was a consumer website where users created virtual clones of themselves that could chat via MSN Messenger, blogs, and the Skaaz website. Skaaz grew to 650K members and appeared on French national television before the site closed December 2008. Pascal helped secure VirtuOz second round of funding with MDV, signed and managed VirtuOz US largest Clients and launched the US team and operations.
Pascal has also launched three consumer websites: LocalHours.com (store hours of hundreds of thousands of stores and spas in the US), MaToolbar.com (themed toolbars) and Lokaliz.com (Milo.com but 3 years ahead of time). Prior to VirtuOz, Pascal worked at eBay France where he helped grow the Hi-Tech categories and gained significant market share in a very competitive market. Pascal has a MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Applied Math and Economics from Ecole Polytechnique. He currently lives in San Francisco with his family.
